If you are looking for some rest and relaxation, or looking to develop some really great friendships, or if you just want a quiet place to “get away" from it all, DeerCreek Recreation Club could be just what your looking for!


It's a secluded and peaceful haven for your family just 35 miles southwest of Chicago.  Located in Plainfield, DeerCreek Recreation Club is a beautiful private club that boasts of two lakes with boating, fishing, hunting, camping, trap shooting and a 3D range. There's a playground for the children,  a clubhouse, a trap house and two pavilions and we are proud to say some of the nicest people you would want to meet as its members.

We offer 3 types of Membership:

A Full Membership entitles you to the following:

* Voting rights
* Able to serve on the Board of Directors
                              * Hunting (deer and waterfowl)                             
* Fishing
* 3D Archery
* Trap Shooting
* Rental of the clubhouse for an additional fee
* 1 boat rack
* Special camping permit for an additional fee (seasonal site reservation)

When you purchase the special camping permit, you may leave your camper in the same spot for the season. If you decide to not purchase the permit, you must move your camper every 21 days and you must sleep in it every night.


 

Our Yearly Membership entitles you to the following:

* Fishing
* Rental of the clubhouse for an additional fee
* Camping (see below)
* 3D Archery
* Trap Shooting
* Boat rack for an additional fee

Our Annual Swimming Membership entitles you to the following:

  Unlimited swimming from Memorial Day to Labor Day

Which membership is right for you?

If you want to hunt, you must purchase a Full Membership. 

If you have a camper and are someone that likes to spend a lot of time at the lake, we recommend the Full Membership.

If you just want to come out every now and then to fish or swim and you don't own a camper, you would probably want the Yearly Membership.

You always have the option of upgrading the Yearly Membership to a Full Membership at anytime.

All memberships are contingent upon a successful background check.

A non-refundable fee of $12.00 per adult is required at the time of application to cover the cost of running a back ground check.
